Fractional B2B Chief Marketing
Officer
As a Fractional B2B CMO, you will lead client
engagements, taking ownership of clients’ success with marketing, sales, and customer
success teams. You will work inside
client businesses to help them define priorities, create systems and solutions,
owning successful implementation and execution.
Often you will be building and mentoring talent inside client
organizations and leading external agencies in delivering against a plan.
Our company specializes in B2B Revenue
Systems primarily working with SaaS, Tech, and B2B Services businesses who are
navigating long sales cycles and complex buying committees for high-value engagements. As a Fractional B2B CMO, you will partner
with clients’ C-Suite, Board of Directors, and Marketing and Sales leaders to
define priorities, set goals, and deliver results.
Our approach integrates Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success for true revenue
accountability and cross-functional experience is preferred.
We have a proven system for generating scaleable
growth, but the right candidate will bring creative ideas on how to apply this
system to solve specific client challenges.
Success in this role requires a strong ability to empathize and
understand the target decision-makers our clients are pursuing.
You will bring innovation
and expertise with guerilla strategies and tactics for putting client brands
where they need to be, when they need to be there, to attract the right prospects,
accelerate their decision-making, and activate happy customers for renewals,
upsells, and advocacy.
You must bring
10+ years of experience working with senior business leaders and owning successful
planning and execution of marketing initiatives including brand strategy,
media, PR, data, analytics, and technology components.
Job is 100%
remote, but must be willing to travel to meet with clients and the team on occasion
(~1X per quarter). Prefer Eastern Time
Zone to align with current client needs.
Applicants with
a strong network of potential clients will be given priority, but this is not a
sales position.
Key Responsibilities and Skills

Set the strategic
plan for marketing, sales and content to grow existing business
·
Manage P&L
for each brand and the entire sales and marketing teams
·
Attract, onboard,
and develop top-tier talent
·
Lead company
marketing capabilities including brand marketing, public relations, social
media and performance marketing, marketing analytics and marketing operations
·
Review current
marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different
styles and strategies
·
Drive department
innovation within desired KPI’s and OKR’s
·
Research clients’
competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market.
·
Collaborate
cross-functionally and with the clients’ C-Suite to make high-level decisions
regarding the budget and the direction of the company
·
Create and
maintain a successful brand and image that builds the reputation of Modern
Revenue Strategies with clients

Manage marketing
plans and strategies for new and existing brands
·
Develop and
cultivate talent, engage and coach employees, and foster an organizational
culture that aligns employee and team performance with strategic goals and
objectives
